Research Interests: My current research is focused around the strengths that help to propel individuals through substance and alcohol use disorder recovery, such as positive affective functioning and social connectedness. I also conduct research on stigma, harm reduction, and media portrayal of substance use and substance use disorder.

Profile: I am currently a fifth-year clinical psychology candidate. I will be completing my clinical internship year (2025-2026) at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island before graduating with my PhD from UNM in 2026.
