Advisor: Dr. Tania Reynolds
Research Area: Intersexual Competition, Intrasexual Competition, Cross-Sex Hate.
Entered Program: Fall of 2024
Research Interests: Broadly, I am interested in applying evolutionary theory to modern problems, utilizing biological and anthropological theories to inform my research. My current research investigates a modern form of cross-sex hatred/distrust and the predictors of this phenomenon. My future research will be to examine the various pipelines to extreme hate ideology in men and women.
Profile: I received my B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Biology from UNM in 2024 and joined the Evolutionary Psychology program in Fall 2024. I currently hold a position in the Graduate Association of Student’s in Psychology (GASP), helping to relay information to and improve resources for current graduate students. Additionally, I serve as a co-president of the Diversity Organization (DO!), aiming to help undergraduates connect with graduate students for mentorship, resources related to graduate school, and research opportunities.
